Jumper Poster Analysis

The poster of Jumper uses the stereotypical 'Hero/Main Character standing in the center of the image', this image also uses obvious text such as 'Anywhere is possible' to help show the genre/what the film is focused around as it is essentially hinting towards it in quite an obvious method.

The movie producers added 'from the director of The Bourne Identity and Mr & Mrs Smith' showing that they are trying to increase publicity by advertising their previous films via their newest film.

They also use a background image that is very rarely seen on posters as usually it is some sort of monotone colour with the characters face covering the most of it or it is a still image of a scene during the film, this film uses a background (Egypt and pyramids) that is rarely seen outside of the Historical genre.
