Apple Ipod Answers

3) How is the product of an iPod represented in this advert?
In this advert the Ipod is shown as a young and new creation (Even though the idea has been thrown around a lot and used a decent amount), it is also shown as new and much more effective as it shows the product bounce, breaking into other different products that they have previously made and then it bounces back together, this could symobolize that it is just one product that does the functions of their other products making them obselete.

The music and the product are reacting together as when the music plays an obvious beat the product bounces around even breaks as the song continues, this creates a sense of a modern product that has been advertised in a way that it now appeals to a wider range of people, another good thing about the music is that it isn't a very well known song which means that the group that created it will now most likely be refered to when this product is bought, shown and advertised again.

The product itself is in a plain white background with multiple different colours on itself when it breaks into older products, this helps create a sense of cleanliness that may symbolize that the product itself is very clean and easy to use. The colour scheme used it make sure that the viewer pays complete attention to the product and nothing going on in the background, it also ensures that people know that you can get the product in a variety of colours therefore appealing to more people.
